Opening Night Session
Valdur Koha – Rooted in Trust
Location: K.J. Peterson Hall
“Which God do I trust?”
A deep trust in God is essential to develop roots of faith. Roots are needed to live out Godâs calling for our lives. Trust in God requires a growing understanding of who God is. Of course, we would answer: the God of Christianity or the Only God or the God of the Bible or the Father or Jesus and others or a combination of these. But who is this God? Do I really know Him? How do I know? Where does my knowledge of God come from? This lesson will help us develop a deeper understanding of God is and practical approaches to deepen our trust in Him.
Listen to the worship playlist before the conference!
Rooted in Discipling
Valdur Koha
Location: KJ Peterson I
“Rooted in Character-Shaping Discipleship.” Character transformation becoming more and more like Jesus is the goal of discipleship. However, this will not be the result of a self-sufficient self-improvement effort. Being grounded in the Body of Christ equips us with relationships that are essential for such a transformation.
Rooted in Reverence
Daniel & Jess Marie
Location: KJ Peterson II
Our best hope with this lesson is to inspire us all to recapture God’s heart and embrace His call to reverence, which simply defined, is to fear Him. We will go through Davidâs life as a case study. We will explore how being rooted in reverence is key for a healthy view of God and a thriving relationship with Him.
Rooted in Evangelism
Quentin & Soraya Le Neveu
Location: KJ Peterson IV
Rooted in Evangelism is designed to equip campus students with the confidence and tools to share their faith boldly. This session will help students overcome fear, rethink their approach to cold-contact evangelism, and develop a heart for reaching others. Through practical strategies and biblical encouragement, attendees will be inspired to step out in faith and make a lasting impact on their campuses.
Rooted in the Vine
Shawn Wooten
Location: K.J. Peterson I
God promises a life to a full – and fellowships that can do more than we could ask for or imagine! The key is staying âRooted in the Vineâ – Prayerfully this sermon – will chart out a road map – to stay Rooted – and stand in awe – at the Fruit His Spirit brings about as we abide in Christ.
Rooted in Mental Health
Annette VĂ€lling & Adriana Busuioc
Location: K.J. Peterson II
We’ll focus on finding strength in God during our personal and spiritual struggles with mental health. In times of trial, itâs crucial to trust that God is with us, fighting on our behalf and offering the strength we need to persevere (Isaiah 41:10). While therapy and medication are valuable gifts from Him, true healing also comes from trusting His Word and presence (James 1:17). While scripture may not always bring instant relief, it assures us that God is our refuge and strength in every trial (Psalm 46:1).
Rooted in Biblical Finances
Mati Simm
Location: K.J. Peterson IV
Rooted in Dating
Bruno & Margaux Inec
Location: V. Panso
“Rooted in humility” for a Rock-solid dating relationship. When it comes to dating relationships, one virtue trumps them all. While it is a beautiful time, to cherish, it often comes with some difficulties : maybe it’s painful realizing he or she is not the right one or maybe it’s loving them so much that the wait becomes a spiritual stumbling block. In this class, Margaux and Bruno will make the case that, through all of these hardships, a Jesus-like humility will protect and strengthen you. Keeping you from bitterness and sinfulness.
Women’s Class
Deb Anton
Location: K.J. Peterson II+IV
âDeep Roots at the Garden Tombâ. Matthew 27:50-28:10. A study of Mary Magdalene and her deep devotion to Jesus. Â Maryâs bold devotion kept her rooted at the garden tomb. In her unwavering pursuit of Christ, she became the first eyewitness to the resurrection – turning sorrow into proclamation.
Sunday Service
Ed Anton – Rooted in Revolution
Location: K.J. Peterson Hall
Mark 8:34-9:1, Mark 15. What did it mean to take up a cross? What did it mean to take up a cross at Passover? Passover was Israelâs Independence Day. And crosses were the consequence for those who fought for independence and revolution. Jesus, on Easter, initiated the greatest revolution of all time. We are called to participate in that great revolution. Letâs make this a powerful Easter.Â
